ΣΑΕ Fall 2010 Rush: Sunday, August 29^th-Friday, September 3^rd

Sigma Alpha Epsilon is the largest and most established fraternity in the nation. As the original founding fraternity at the University of Florida, the Florida Upsilon chapter together with the University of Florida Interfraternity Council celebrated their shared 125^th anniversary on campus this past semester. As the oldest chapter on campus and the chapter with the most initiates into Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Florida Upsilon is host to the greatest alumni base of any fraternity in the nation.

Our chapter continually sets the standard in all aspects of Greek life: social, athletic, academic, and above all else brotherhood. We proudly conduct the most selective rush at the University of Florida, evaluating men based upon their ability to socialize and conduct themselves in a manner becoming of a gentleman, as well as the ability to balance all aspects of school, such as academics and extra-curricular activities.

Each day during rush Sigma Alpha Epsilon hosts three events: Lunch from 11AM-2PM, Dinner from 6PM-&PM and a Meet and Greet from 8PM-10PM. As we refrain from hosting ‘theme nights', rushees should come prepared to socialize and get a true feel for the fraternity and the Brotherhood. Gentlemen may only receive a bid after a unanimous decision by the chapter. For this reason it is exceedingly important for each potential new member to come by SAE every night to meet and get to know as many brothers as possible during rush week.
